Drift Jellyfish Glitter Squishy
Slow-melt calm for anxious moments and 2 a.m. overthinking
Squishies & Slow-Rising Toys
A bakery-soft panda bun squishy that rises back like fresh dough: your squishiest companion for stress and sleep.
Bun Buddy is exactly what it sounds like: a plump little steamed-bun panda that feels like squeezing warm dough and rises back just as slowly. It's the squishy you keep by the bed, on the desk, or in your bag for the moments when your hands need to do something and your mind needs to slow down. Flatten the soft round body and watch the panda's cheeks puff back over several seconds. It's a tiny, repeating ritual that's genuinely grounding when anxiety is buzzing. The matte, bakery-soft skin is gentle on fingertips and has just enough give to feel substantial without being firm. The sweet panda face is hard not to smile at, and the slow squish quietly takes the edge off a stressful afternoon. It's a low-stimulation sensory tool that's perfect for sleep wind-downs, screen breaks, and that restless stretch between tasks. Cute enough to gift, soothing enough to keep, Bun Buddy makes calm feel as easy as squeezing a fresh bun.
Slow-rising polyurethane (PU) foam with a soft matte skin and non-toxic printed panda detailing. BPA- and phthalate-free.
Spot-clean with a barely-damp cloth and air dry fully; never soak foam squishies. Store away from heat, oils, and sharp edges to keep the skin intact. Not food-safe, so keep away from mouths.

exactly as described
Gives my nervous energy somewhere to go. Silent too, which is the main thing for me.
exactly as described
better made than the cheap ones online — this one actually lasts.
swapped my phone for this at night
11pm, lying there with my mind going a hundred miles an hour — I used to reach for my phone and end up doomscrolling for an hour. Now I keep Bun Buddy on the nightstand and squish it instead. Slow, repetitive, quiet. My hands stay busy, my eyes stay off the screen, and I drift off way faster. Small thing but it's made a real difference to how I get to sleep.
so worth it
Bought one, already ordered another. It settles my hands when I’m anxious.
second one I've ordered
First Bun Buddy disappeared into my kid's room never to be seen again, so I bought a backup for myself. The Matcha Green is my favorite of the three. Around 9cm, fits the palm nicely, weighs almost nothing so it lives in my jacket pocket. Quiet enough that I fidget with it in meetings and nobody clocks it.
good, minor niggle
Really like this squishy — it feels amazing in the hand. Only thing, there was a faint smell the first day that aired out. Still using it daily.
calm in the palm
keep one on the couch and another at school. Worth it.
soft and silent, exactly what I wanted
Wasn't expecting much from a squishy but this one is genuinely well made. The foam has a substantial feel, not flimsy or hollow, and it rises back slow and even every time. I use it on the sofa in the evenings to keep my hands busy now that I've mostly stopped picking at my nails. One part of my little wind-down routine and it does the job.
my new favorite
Didn’t think a little squishy would do much, but it has become part of my wind-down.
disappointed
Disappointed. There was a faint smell the first day that aired out, and for me that’s the whole point of the squishy. Yours might be fine, mine wasn’t.
really good, one small thing
Really like this squishy — it has become part of my wind-down. Only thing, mine arrived with a small crease that mostly settled. Still using it daily.
nice squish, smaller than the photos suggest
Want to be fair here because the squish quality is good — slow, even rebound, soft matte skin, genuinely calming to press. But it's smaller than I pictured from the listing photos; in my head it was a chunky steamed bun and in reality it's roughly the size of a plum. And the printed face had already smudged a little on one cheek within the first couple weeks of normal desk use. For thirteen bucks it's fine, just set your expectations on the size and the print won't survive rough handling.
does the job
A few weeks in and it’s still in my pocket daily. Would buy again in a heartbeat.
great little fidget
keep one in meetings and another on the couch. Exactly what I hoped for.
great little fidget
Keeps my hands busy on the couch without anyone noticing. Love it.
buy it
So soft and the slow rise is genuinely satisfying. Couldn’t be happier.
got me through finals week
Grad student here, anxiety goes through the roof around deadlines. I keep this next to my laptop and squeeze it while I'm reading. The slow rise means I can't just frantically squish it — it forces a slower rhythm, which is kind of the point I guess. Takes the edge off a long study session. Strawberry Pink colorway is gorgeous in person too.
mixed feelings
The little squishy is genuinely nice, but there was a faint smell the first day that aired out. It’s fine, just landed in the middle for me.
so soft
Keep one on the train and another during lectures. Worth it.
happy overall
Really like this squishy — it settles my hands when I’m anxious. Only thing, the printed face fades a little with handling. Still using it daily.
lovely texture, face faded a bit
No complaints about the squish itself — the 4-to-6 second rebound is exactly as advertised and the matte foam is gentle on the fingertips. My one gripe: after a few weeks of daily handling the printed panda face has lightened, especially the little nose. Still adorable, but it's clearly a print and not super durable if you're a heavy fidgeter like me. Knew the risk going in so I'm not too fussed.
my new favorite
quiet, calming, perfect for before bed. Would buy again in a heartbeat.
didn’t hold up
Disappointed. The printed face fades a little with handling, and for me that’s the whole point of the slow-rise squishy. Yours might be fine, mine wasn’t.
my new favorite
use it on flights every day. Couldn’t be happier.
good and not-so-good
The little squishy is genuinely nice, but mine arrived with a small crease that mostly settled. It’s fine, just landed in the middle for me.
better than expected
My daughter is obsessed with this little squishy — hasn’t put it down.
calm-corner favorite
I bought a few of these for the calm corner in my classroom and the panda is by far the one the kids fight over. It's silent, which matters in a room of 24, and the slow rise actually holds their attention for a minute instead of being chucked across the room. Easy to wipe down too. Already planning to grab a couple more.
happy overall
Really like this squishy — it scratches the sensory itch just right. Only thing, there was a faint smell the first day that aired out. Still using it daily.
great little fidget
honestly didn’t expect much for the price and it lives on my nightstand now.
wanted to love it
wanted to love it but the printed face fades a little with handling. The idea is good and it looked great, just didn’t hold up the way I hoped.
feels like squishing warm dough
that's the only way i can describe it. cool to the touch, soft, and it pushes back at this slow steady pace that's honestly so soothing. i keep it on my nightstand and squish it while my brain winds down. doesn't fix the racing thoughts but it gives my anxious hands somewhere to go instead of my phone, which is the whole point.
smelled faintly of foam day one
Cute, soft, slow-rises beautifully. Only thing worth mentioning is there was a faint chemical-ish smell straight out of the packaging — not strong, but noticeable the first day. I left it out on the windowsill overnight and by morning it was basically gone, no issue since. If you're sensitive to smells just air it out before handing it to a kid. Otherwise really happy with it.
lovely little thing
Keeps my hands busy at school without anyone noticing. Love it.
does the job
got the Matcha Green and it’s even prettier in person. Worth it.
so soft
So soft and the slow rebound is genuinely satisfying. Would buy again in a heartbeat.
so soft
Better than I expected. Has become part of my wind-down.
my daughter named hers immediately
Got this as a little just-because gift for my 9 year old and it was an instant hit. She calls it Mochi and it goes everywhere with her. Smaller than a real bao bun, more palm-sized, but that's perfect for her hands. Sweet little panda, completely silent, and I love that she reaches for it instead of a screen when she's overwhelmed.
so soft
Has become part of my wind-down. Silent too, which is the main thing for me.
calm in the palm
So soft and the slow rebound is genuinely satisfying. Better than I expected.
the slow rise is weirdly hypnotic
Bought this on a whim for the desk and now I press it flat between Slack messages and watch the panda cheeks puff back up. It takes a good five seconds, which is exactly long enough to make me exhale. Matte skin, no weird shine, no noise — nobody in my open-plan office even knows I'm fidgeting. The Classic Panda face is genuinely cute without being babyish. Best $13 I've spent on the office in ages.
really good, one small thing

5 questions answered by our team and buyers
Ask a questionWould this work for an autistic adult who needs sensory input?
Honest answer: it helps a lot of people, and we won't pretend it's magic. Having something to squish with your hands can take the edge off restlessness, stress or the urge to fidget, and many of our customers find that genuinely steadying. It is a supportive tool though, not a treatment or a cure. If you're navigating a diagnosis, a professional is the right person to guide that.
Not a cure obviously, but it's become part of how I get through tense afternoons. Worth a try.
Is the Bun Buddy actually quiet enough to use in a quiet office?
Completely silent, yes. No clicks, no pops, nothing for anyone to notice. It's one of the toys we specifically recommend for meetings, classrooms and quiet offices.
How big is it really? It's hard to judge the scale from photos.
It's about Approx. 9 cm round. It sits comfortably in an adult palm and tucks into a bag or pocket easily. The full dimensions are in the details table on this page.
How fast is shipping?
We dispatch within 1 to 2 business days with tracking, and US orders over $35 ship free. You'll get a tracking email the moment it's on the way.
Does it hold up over time, or does the slow-rising wear out?
Made from slow-rising polyurethane (pu) foam with a soft matte skin and non-toxic printed panda detailing, it's built for daily handling, and plenty of customers have used theirs every day for well over a year. A quick wipe now and then keeps it at its best.
