Drift Jellyfish Glitter Squishy
Slow-melt calm for anxious moments and 2 a.m. overthinking
Squishies & Slow-Rising Toys
A slow-rising sea turtle squishy with a domed, squeezable shell: calm, cute, and built for slow, steady decompression.
Shelly the sea turtle is calm in creature form. This slow-rising squishy has a satisfyingly domed shell and four little flippers, all soft enough to flatten and slow enough to puff gracefully back over a few unhurried seconds. There's something about that unhurried rise that is easy to watch and settle into, which is why Shelly is a favorite for anxious moments, sensory breaks, and bedtime wind-downs. The rounded shell sits perfectly in a closed palm for full-hand squeezing, while the flippers give fingertips smaller details to explore. Its sweet, sleepy face makes it as much a desk decoration as a fidget tool, and at a comfortable hand size it travels easily between work, school, and the nightstand. Use it to ground yourself before something stressful, or to help a child settle at the end of the day. Shelly offers the same gentle, screen-free comfort every time. Slow, soft, and quietly reassuring, this little turtle is built to help you take it one easy squeeze at a time.
Slow-rising polyurethane (PU) foam with a soft matte skin and non-toxic printed detailing. BPA- and phthalate-free.
Spot-clean with a barely-damp cloth and air dry fully; never soak foam squishies. Keep away from heat, oils, and sharp edges. Not food-safe; keep away from mouths.

exactly as described
so soft and the slow rebound is genuinely satisfying. Better than I expected.
lovely little thing
Didn’t think a squishy would do much, but it lives on my nightstand now.
update after a couple months
Came back to add to my first impression. Bought this for my daughter's bedtime routine and was a little worried it'd be forgotten in a week like most things. Two months on it's still part of the wind-down — she flattens the shell, we count the rise together, lights out. The matte coating has held up to a lot of little hands and only looks slightly loved. For a soft foam toy that's been squeezed nightly, that's better than I hoped. The flippers are the one soft spot, so we taught her to squish the shell and leave them be, and they're totally intact.
great little fidget
On the train this is exactly what my hands needed. Worth it.
better than expected
A few weeks in and it’s still going strong. Would buy again in a heartbeat.
better than expected
helps quiet my head before bed. Silent too, which is the main thing for me.
my new favorite
My anxiety is easier to sit with when this is in my hand.
cute, but pricey for the size
Mixed feelings. The squish itself is genuinely nice — slow, even rise, soft matte finish, no chemical smell. But $13.49 for something this size felt steep once it arrived, especially since you can find similar foam squishies for less. And the flippers are thin enough that I worry about them long-term; they flex a lot more than the shell does. I don't regret it exactly, the turtle is charming, but I expected a bit more heft for the price.
hooked
Bought one, already ordered another. It has become part of my wind-down.
swapped it for my phone at red lights
weird small win but i used to grab my phone every time i stopped at a light and now i grab shelly out of the cupholder instead. the slow rise gives my brain just enough to focus on. sandy tan, looks like a real loggerhead almost. no smell out of the package which i appreciated since some foam ones reek for days.
really good, one small thing
Really like this little squishy — it takes the edge off when I’m wound up. Only thing, there was a faint smell the first day that aired out. Still using it daily.
better than expected
Gave it to my partner and it was a hit. Might order one for myself.
calm in the palm
Bought one, already ordered another. It feels amazing in the hand.
not for me
disappointed. There was a faint smell the first day that aired out, and for me that’s the whole point of the slow-rise squishy. Yours might be fine, mine wasn’t.
lovely little thing
quiet, calming, perfect for during lectures. Better than I expected.
the whole ocean theme is my weakness
I have a thing for turtles so this was always going to win me over, but it earned its spot. The shell is domed enough that it disappears into a closed fist and you can really lean into the squeeze. Got the Ocean Blue and it's a soft denim-ish shade rather than bright. Lives next to my keyboard and I grab it during long calls without thinking. Lovely gift box presentation too.
better than expected
Gave it to my granddaughter and it was a hit. Might order one for myself.
almost perfect
Really like this squishy — it scratches the sensory itch just right. Only thing, mine arrived with a small crease that mostly settled. Still using it daily.
hooked
Keeps my hands busy in class without anyone noticing. Love it.
night shift companion
I keep one at my station for the long quiet stretches. Doesn't click or pop or make any noise so I'm not bothering anyone, and the repetitive squeeze-and-wait helps me reset between charts. Bought a second for home before this one even wore out.

On long calls this is exactly what my hands needed. Worth it.
so soft
Better made than the cheap ones online — this one actually lasts.
my new favorite
my grandson asked me to order them their own. That says it all.
kid approved
My 7yo carried it around the house for two days straight. She loves pressing the shell flat and counting how long it takes to puff up. Sweet little sleepy face too.
good, minor niggle
Really like this squishy — it gives my nervous energy somewhere to go. Only thing, there was a faint smell the first day that aired out. Still using it daily.
smaller in person than I pictured
Gorgeous little thing and the rise is exactly as described, maybe five seconds and very smooth. My only gripe is it's smaller than it looked online — about 11cm, so it fits neatly in a palm but I'd built it up bigger in my head from the photos. Still happy, just calibrate your expectations. The seafoam colour is really pretty in person.

So soft and the slow rise is genuinely satisfying. So glad I bought it.
my third ocean one from here
Slowly building a little reef on my desk — already had the jellyfish and the crab, and Shelly might be the favorite. The flippers are the detail nobody talks about, they give your fingertips something to do while the shell handles the big squeeze. Silent, which matters in an open-plan office. Ocean Blue looks just like the photos.
my new favorite
my partner asked me to order them their own. That says it all.
lovely but mind the flippers
I really do love this turtle — the matte skin feels soft and a little powdery, and the shell is dense enough that flattening it is satisfying. One real caveat: the flippers are noticeably thinner than the shell, and my nephew managed to half-tear one within a week by tugging on it. They're fine for normal squeezing but not for rough little hands. Knowing that, I'd still buy it, I'd just keep an eye on how it gets handled.

the rise is the whole point
Bought this on a whim after a rough few weeks and the slow puff-back is genuinely the best part. You squish the shell flat and then just watch it come back over four or five seconds, and somewhere in there my shoulders drop. Got the Seafoam Green and it's a soft mossy color, not neon at all. Sits on my nightstand and I reach for it before sleep more than I expected to.
happy overall
Really like this little squishy — it is so satisfying to squish. Only thing, there was a faint smell the first day that aired out. Still using it daily.

How big is it really? It's hard to judge the scale from photos.
It's about Approx. 11 cm long. It sits comfortably in an adult palm and tucks into a bag or pocket easily. The full dimensions are in the details table on this page.
Is the Shelly Sea actually quiet enough to use in a classroom?
Completely silent, yes. No clicks, no pops, nothing for anyone to notice. It's one of the toys we specifically recommend for meetings, classrooms and quiet offices.
Would this work for an autistic adult who needs sensory input?
Honest answer: it helps a lot of people, and we won't pretend it's magic. Having something to squish with your hands can take the edge off restlessness, stress or the urge to fidget, and many of our customers find that genuinely steadying. It is a supportive tool though, not a treatment or a cure. If you're navigating a diagnosis, a professional is the right person to guide that.
Helps me more than I expected. mostly it just gives my hands a better job than picking at my nails.
