Drift Jellyfish Glitter Squishy
Slow-melt calm for anxious moments and 2 a.m. overthinking
Squishies & Slow-Rising Toys
A soft slice-of-toast squishy with a little pat of butter. Squeeze the warm-looking bread flat and watch it rise back like fresh dough.
Bread Buddy feels exactly like the thing it's pretending to be: soft, springy bread you can press flat and watch round slowly back, like dough proving in fast-forward. There's a printed pat of butter on top and a sleepy little face that makes it good company on a desk. The slow rise is the soothing part: a gentle, repeating motion that gives anxious hands a job and your eyes something easy to follow. The matte skin is kind for long, idle fidgeting, and it's completely silent. Keep it by the keyboard for screen breaks or on the nightstand for winding down, a warm-looking little comfort that's always ready for a squeeze.
Slow-rising polyurethane (PU) foam with a soft matte skin and non-toxic printed detailing. BPA- and phthalate-free.
Spot-clean with a barely-damp cloth and air dry fully; never soak foam squishies. Keep away from heat, oils and sharp edges. Not food-safe; keep away from mouths.

tiny piece of calm between classes
Keep this in my bag and pull it out between lectures when my hands need a job. The slow round-back is oddly grounding and it's silent so no one even notices I'm using it during a quiet study hall. Soft, light, holds its shape. The little face is just a bonus that makes me grin.
happy overall
Really like this little squishy — it helps me feel a bit calmer. Only thing, it’s a bit smaller than I pictured. Still using it daily.
my new favorite
A few weeks in and it’s still going strong. Worth it.
better than expected
My restlessness is easier to sit with when this is in my hand.
calm in the palm
Bought one, already ordered another. It lives on my nightstand now.
so worth it
My students is obsessed with this slow-rise squishy — hasn’t put it down.
great fidget, slight smell out of the box
Does what I wanted — quiet desk fidget for those screen-break moments when I'd otherwise be doom-scrolling. The dough-proving rise is satisfying and the matte texture holds up to a lot of idle squeezing. Only reason it's not a full five is the faint smell when I first opened it. Nothing awful, sort of a new-foam thing, and it was basically gone by day two, but it was noticeable enough that I wouldn't have wanted to hand it straight to a kid that first afternoon.
hooked
My fidgeting is easier to sit with when this is in my hand.
buy it
Bought one, already ordered another. It settles my hands when I’m anxious.
exactly as described
My anxiety is easier to sit with when this is in my hand.
good, minor niggle
Really like this slow-rise squishy — it has become part of my wind-down. Only thing, there was a faint smell the first day that aired out. Still using it daily.
perfect kawaii desk buddy
As a sucker for cute food squishies this one checks every box. The sleepy face and the little butter pat are exactly the kind of detail that makes me smile when I glance over mid-meeting. Slow rise is smooth, around five seconds, and it's blessedly quiet.
great little fidget
This little little squishy genuinely calms me down. Five stars from me.
soft and squishy, the face has faded a bit
Lovely texture, genuinely — matte and springy and very kind to fidget with for ages. My one gripe is the printed face. After a few weeks of being squeezed in my pocket the little eyes have gone noticeably lighter, and the butter pat too. Still works exactly the same and I still reach for it during wind-down before bed, but if you're getting it as a gift maybe warn them not to manhandle the printed side too much.
happy overall
Really like this squishy — it is so satisfying to squish. Only thing, mine arrived with a small crease that mostly settled. Still using it daily.
does the job
Quiet, calming, perfect for at work. Exactly what I hoped for.
better than expected
Keep one in meetings and another in waiting rooms. So glad I bought it.
lovely little thing
bought one, already ordered another. It helps quiet my head before bed.
love it
Use it in the car every day. Better than I expected.
swapped my phone for this on study breaks
exam season survival kit basically. instead of grabbing my phone every twenty minutes i squish the toast a few times and somehow that resets my brain enough to keep going. the 9cm size sits perfectly in my palm and it weighs almost nothing so it just lives in my hoodie pocket. matte skin doesnt get gross and sticky like the cheap ones either
really good, one small thing
Really like this little squishy — it has become part of my wind-down. Only thing, mine arrived with a small crease that mostly settled. Still using it daily.
lovely little thing
My roommate is obsessed with this little squishy — hasn’t put it down.
cute but smaller than the photos suggested
Mixed feelings. The slow rise is satisfying and the squish quality is genuinely nice, no complaints there. But I pictured it bigger — at about 9cm it's more palm-sized than the listing photos led me to expect, so it felt a little underwhelming opening the box. There was also a faint chemical-ish smell the first day; that aired out completely after sitting on the windowsill overnight, to be fair. If I'd known the actual size going in I'd probably be happier with it.
my new favorite
Lives on my nightstand now. Silent too, which is the main thing for me.
great with a tiny caveat
Really like this slow-rise squishy — it settles my hands when I’m anxious. Only thing, the printed face fades a little with handling. Still using it daily.
great little fidget
Keeps my hands busy on flights without anyone noticing. Love it.
warm-looking comfort on the nightstand
11pm, mind doing its usual loop, and this has quietly become part of how I wind down. There's something about the slow puff back up that gives my eyes something gentle to follow until I drift. Completely silent so it never wakes my partner. It's not a sleeping pill obviously, but it takes the edge off the racing-thoughts part and that's enough for me. The Light Bread one looks so soft and cozy sitting there.
a bit let down
Wanted to love it but mine arrived with a small crease that mostly settled. The idea is good and it looked great, just didn’t hold up the way I hoped.
my new favorite
better made than the cheap ones online — this one actually lasts.
buy it
Keep one on the couch and another at my desk. Exactly what I hoped for.
the little face gets me every time
Bought it as a desk thing for screen breaks and it has completely earned its spot by the keyboard. The slow rise is the whole appeal for me — press it flat, set it down, and by the time I've read the next paragraph it's puffed back up like dough. That four-or-so second round-back is weirdly hypnotic. Got the Golden Toast colorway and the sleepy little face is honestly adorable. Silent too, which matters in an open-plan office where everyone can hear a pen click from across the room.
great little fidget
Bought one, already ordered another. It gives my nervous energy somewhere to go.
gift for my niece that I now kind of want for myself
Got this for my niece's birthday because she's deep in her squishy phase and it was an instant hit — she named it the second she unwrapped it. The Golden Toast color is genuinely cute in person, that warm toasty gold with the printed butter on top. She keeps it on her desk for homework breaks and presses it flat over and over watching it round back up. Honestly tempted to order a Light Bread one for my own nightstand now. Good weight, good size for smaller hands, and not a peep of noise.

5 questions answered by our team and buyers
Ask a questionIs the Bread Buddy actually quiet enough to use in a quiet office?
Completely silent, yes. No clicks, no pops, nothing for anyone to notice. It's one of the toys we specifically recommend for meetings, classrooms and quiet offices.
Can I clean it if it gets grubby?
Spot-clean with a barely-damp cloth and air dry fully; never soak foam squishies. Nothing fussy, and it freshens right up.
How fast is shipping?
We dispatch within 1 to 2 business days with tracking, and US orders over $35 ship free. You'll get a tracking email the moment it's on the way.
How big is it really? It's hard to judge the scale from photos.
It's about Approx. 9 cm. It sits comfortably in an adult palm and tucks into a bag or pocket easily. The full dimensions are in the details table on this page.
Would this work for an autistic adult who needs sensory input?
Honest answer: it helps a lot of people, and we won't pretend it's magic. Having something to squish with your hands can take the edge off restlessness, stress or the urge to fidget, and many of our customers find that genuinely steadying. It is a supportive tool though, not a treatment or a cure. If you're navigating a diagnosis, a professional is the right person to guide that.
Works for me as one thing in my toolkit. I keep it on my desk and reach for it without thinking.
